Our Centurion has already helped many customers achieve optimal packaging for frozen potato products such as French fries. Our machine can be equipped with different sealing systems, depending on your needs. The choice of film is decisive in this regard.

The traditional PTC sealing system ensures accurate pulse sealing, so that the correct temperature is always achieved across the entire sealing width. The Teflon tape prevents the film from sticking to the sealing bar and the Ropex controllers are controlled from the machine control system. The sealing bars can be replaced via a quick-change system, minimizing downtime in the event of damaged Teflon.

In addition to PTC, we also offer the Omniseal system. This system is characterized by its ease of use and reduced downtime. Thanks to constant heating, the right clamping device, and our own coating, we can process PE films without any sticking. The seal strip only needs to be re-treated after approximately 1.2 million packages.

Finally, we also work with Ceetak, a system similar to PTC but without Teflon tape. With this system, we save 7 mm of film per package because there is no longer any curt. The bag is cut in the middle of the seal and the system is fully integrated into the control system.

The films used in the frozen fries industry are becoming thinner every year. With the right format settings, we can currently process film as thin as 28 microns. The corresponding format set guarantees the quality of the longitudinal seam. The piston action of the product is made damage-free by means of air vibrations, which ensures a perfect longitudinal seam.

Potato processors want to pack as many packages as possible in a shipping box. With the right perforation setting, we can perforate optimally so that secondary packers can easily process the packages. In combination with air expulsion under the jaws, this ensures an efficient process and a neat end result.
